Car Fraud Alerts

August 2007 - Due to the recent floods in England, there is a high amount of Category C and Category D write offs hitting the used car market. These cars have been deemed uneconomical to repair by the insurance companies. Unfortunately many unscrupulous sellers are not informing potential buyers about flood damaged cars.

Please bare in mind that if you buy a flood damaged car that has previously been written off by the insurance company, and need to claim in future. That the amount you will be paid will be substantially lower than the market value for a undamaged car.

If you check the VIN and registration of a vehicle to that of the car data report, this will confirm any previous claims history.
