HPI Car Deceptions
The biggest HPI / car data deception, is the understanding they give you, that you'll be covered if the information the car data company gives you, is wrong.
Although most car information providers claim to have compensation of up to £10,000, should you lose your vehicle due to the wrong information being given by them, there has been very few if any reported payout's of any claim by these companies. So basically if the information is wrong and you need to claim against many of these companies, you'll more than likely be on your own. We know of a clause in HPI's terms and conditions that basically says they don't warranty any of the information they provide, confused? I know we are.
We have seen many cases where poor information from car data companies has gone on to lead the buyer to make a wrong decision about buying a car. We have seen many occasions where there has been adverse information regvarding a car, when in fact there was nothing wrong with the car.
